On my way to the city I stopped at ephoto (the local importers of cheap chinese photo gear) to pick up a set of barn doors for my studio strobe.
While I was there I splurged on one of those $30 adapters to turn a speed light into a ring light. It eats up a lot of light, but seems to do a decent job. These are some quick and dirty macros of the mushrooms in my front yard: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157628496367789/ Summary: I'd rather have a real ring light strobe, but for $30 vs $300, it'll work for now. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
