I managed to track down the data recovery challenge, called the Great Zero 
Challenge, but it's been withdrawn.  They couldn't convince anyone to take it.

But for the truly paranoid, maybe they just don't want you to know what they 
can really do with government-level resources.  As far as I'm concerned, DBAN 
is easy enough if you know what you're doing and if you want more than that, 
physical destruction is the only alternative.
