I don't think it's a sin to hope and expect that things get easier and better.
Yes it is a sin. Everything should stay as it was, and I can offer a
legion of folk songwriters who will vouch for that.
I dunno.
I just have a problem with the "everything that is not mandatory is
prohibited" aspect of some posts.
