Very nice Miserere.

I agree that the best future for the system is to progress in the 
module-with-mount concept, specially if it is an M mount evolution as you 
suggest.
Also, the body may also be susceptible to be replaced, don't it? (more buffer, 
better LCD, precessing power...). In this case it should be done in a way that 
it retains compatibility with the different modules, assuming that the original 
body can 'cope' with a new module with lots of Mpix to move...

Equipment speculation...I love it !!
