Nikon and Canon aren't. Kodak is barely hanging in there with competive
products, let alone leading. Have you looked at the DCS720x and DCS760 (both
based on the F5)? Class leading technology is fueled with cubic dollars; Nikon
and Canon are willing and able to do so.
