hi This was more or less forced apon me. Orignally, sent my 15-50 2.8 lens in to be repaired after it stopped focusing. I checked lens on another camera in store before I blamed the lens and asked store to have it fixed. Lens is 3 years old so well out of warenty. Some 2 months later after not hearing a thing, chased up what was going on. Apperantly the store was noteafied some 6 weeks earlier but noone thought to ring me. Repair place wanted my body as well because the lens worked on the wide range of cameras they have?! Latter, recieved call saying they are going to send lens to CRK in melbourne. they checked every combination the repair place has (what ever that means) and said both camera and lens is fine except when together. I asked for my body back because i wanted it for easter. repair place said no, we may need to replace the lens mount on body. GRRRRRRRRR!!
So bought the K5to take with me for easter. Very nice camera. Quite an upgrade. My wife seeing that I have one bought her own K5 thus upgrading from her K100D. Bigger upgrade Now i need to find some way to ID each camera so we can tell them apart at a quick glance........ Also need 2nd batteries, 12v charger , bigger faster cards etc..........
