I think these guys probably get more than that - Ronnie Scott's is quite expensive. In 30 years of living in London it's my first time at Ronnie Scott's. On the other hand, I did once see Ronnie Scott play live, with Humphrey Littleton, many years ago, at Kew Gardens and that was a lot of fun. I have to admit I know next to nothing about jazz. I had never heard of Pharaoh Sanders before yesterday. But some friends who are big fans of his had booked a table and I went on the spur of the moment. Had a fantastic time though - what a great band they are.
