On 18/12/10, AlunFoto, discombobulated, unleashed:

Yes, and a good lens it was too! Without doubt the best zoom I ever
owned was an EF 70-200 L IS 2.8 - that was superb and I'd have one again
in a flash. Best prime lens for me was/is A*85/1.4 which I still have.

One of Stef's Christmas presents this year is a 420 EX flash. Can't wait
to see his face as he opens that - if it gets here in time - post
delayed due to snow!

He recently spent a few days in Prague on college photog trip,
concentrating on architecture. He has produced some stunning work - he
took his battered old 1D and 2 lenses: EF 28-135 IS walkabout zoom and
the Pentax 17/4 fisheye. He did some street candids as well, and I'm
very impressed. Will see if we can get them up on a web page at some
point. He's got his provisional driving license (learner's permit) and
has started lessons. Is saving madly for a car! C'est la vie unh.
