I sold my ancient Sigma 70-200/2.8 (Remember that one, Cotty?) in
favour of the 60-250. I was very fond of the Sigma in the film days,
but with digital I frequently found the 70mm end a bit too tight. With
the 60-250, I tend to use the ends of the zoom range, and the wide end
of it has saved me quite a few lens swaps. At the long end, I'm not
sure how much advantage the extra 50mm is over a 200mm, but looking
further upwards, the DA* is good enough at 250mm to keep me from
bothering with the DA*300 most of the time.
