Maybe you should give it a bit of time. It got a good review on photozine. I've
always found that it takes a couple days to get accustomed to a totally new
interface.

Yeah I read reviews before I bought... but it was uncomfortable to hold,

Read my reply to Jaume... I got something as a replacement I just love.

Well I bought the RS1000 for $89 -- it is reallly annoying.
I'd take it back tomorrow but Adorama isn't open on Saturdays -
Uncomfortable to hold , for one. complicated manual - I tried to set date and
time but did not want it to show up on the image - it does.
Two many 'Hold this while pressing this"kind of stuff. Ugh. Just too much to
plow through to get the thing to behave... oh well
Meanwhile, I finally had gotten around to having some test prints made of
smugmug/bay photo processed images and WOW!
Bay Photo Rocks, just like several have said.
Ken - I didn't get the actual aluminum print (but it is a choice my buyers can
make on my site on smugmug, it turns out) but
I had two different photos printed on the Endura metallic paper , and also one
of the photos on Lustre and regular glossy. - they
ALL looked good!
I had this photo printed only on metallic and it was certainly the right combo
of image and paper...

and this photo looked fine in all surfaces, though I prefered the glossy and
metallic to lustre.
