Oh, that's odd...I have a Pentax Optio W20 and I find its interface extremly
easy to use...unlike other non-pentax P&S btw.
(I don't remeber having ever read the manual...)

It seems to me everytime they upgrade they lose user friendliness... ...
I've already replaced the Rs1000 with a Canon Powershot SX120 IS for
$115 -- I bought the demo model because they
were out of them... I had a powershot A80 for years that finally died,
the great thing about the new Canon is how very easy
it is to segue - segway into and it allows me to shoot ap Priority and
set every thing manually in that mode but still use auto focus.
I'm in love...
