Sorry but PS7 is not capable of being used with any version of ACR that supports DNG. That thread says that although some of the comments are easy to mistake as saying the opposite.
I don't use much other than Lr3 these days, but if you are seriously strapped for cash, dcraw is free, open source and works well.
