I used to have it in portable form on my computer. But after more than year of not using it I realized it :-) and deleted it recently. No regrets.
I am thinking that latest versions of GIMP do support some kind of color profiles but I never *really* looked into it.
For quick (totally dirty) editing I use PhotoScape, whereas LightRoom is my primary post processing tool.
