It does the V125 has a three part telescoping mech, sounds inherently
unstable but it's solid as a rock and focusing is actually easier at
normal focus distances as the range isn't compressed as it is in the
macro lenses with short focus throw.

Yeah it's a great lens though the CA can be tricky at times and it
doesn't test all that well, it just seems to deliver the goods
consistently. I've been using mine a lot too lately, the 31LTD has
seen very little use.
