Concerning top-heavyness, just about any flash is
going to do that. I have the af330ftz as well as the
500 and the 330 makes even a monster like my pz1p flop
over when I just have it hanging around my neck. My
advice would be to stick with the 500. It gives you
extra power and the ability to swivel the head. Those
two options are things I personally could not live
without anymore. :)
