I was there :-) Channel 44, KBHK tv San Francisco. Early 70s. Speed Racer, sure. Marine Boy. Astroboy! My sister loved 'Kimba the White Lion', ugh. Anyone on the list remember when ABC took the unprecedented step of putting out a 90-minute special of Monty Python, heavily cut and sensored to appease jittery sponsors, while over on the PBS channel 9 (KQED?) you could watch uncut Monty Python in the intended 30 minute format? This woulda been about 1974 ish. I was 14. Just started Lynbrook High School, South Bay Area, Cupertino. Never as happy as in my dreams...
