"Made" was a poor choice of words. The profits go back to Japan. Of course all Toyota plants are in "right to work" states. No UAW. No health care and pension burdens. So they have a huge competitive advantage.
Are they breaking any laws or even doing anything morally corrupt by setting up shop where it is financially advantageous?
