I have decided on the PZ-1P, and will probably sell my P5 body. That having been said...I have one being held for me at a Cameras West (Ritz) store in Seattle, but I can save about $100 by ordering online or from one of the companies advertising in PETERSEN'S. They all range in price from $465 to $520 (The lower-priced ones are, of course, generally "grey market").
I have checked the following companies: Cambridge, B&H, Adorama, AAA, Smile, Discovery, Abes (and a few others not selling the Z1-P) Here are a few questions...(I know these have come up before, so please bear with me...) A) Are there any of these companies that you highly recommend? B) Are there any I should Avoid Like The Plague? C) Are there any other retailers I should check out online? D) Should I care whether or not the camera is "grey market"? (I currently don't...) E) Should I actually fall for the Extended Warranty Type Thang, just in case? F) Should I avoid the online sellers altogether and just buy the one at Ritz? The salesman really went the extra mile in procuring one for me, after all...and that kind of service is damned hard to find anymore. Thank you in advance for your advice.
