I'm watching BR ebay-like sites, and right now is the wrong time to sell anything 35mm around here - Pentax in particular. Problem aggravated by

Any ideas? Please???

Prices are probably never going to get better until the MX and LX become "vintage" and "Collectable". Don't hold your breath. As they are broken, just set them aside until the day comes you can get them repaired, or the heaven's dump other bodies on you for parts to repair those you keep.

LX - Unless you have a drawer full of pieces like lots of finders and a 250 exposure back, it's just a camera. Repair when you can afford it as a backup.

MX - a good backup for the LX, but if the PZ-1p can be repaired, you don't need it. Set aside for possible future repair, perhaps when another body can be purchased for parts to repair it. Remember, as time goes by, more LX and MX bodies will die, and be available for parts. Hopefully have parts to make one good camera for you if you want it.

PZ-1p - Easiest to get repaired, I think. Pretty good camera. BUT, for what you cold get all three of these repaired for, you could afford a back-up body (or a better body, like a K100 or K10) for your *ist-DS.

Unless you have $1000 worth of film in your freezer that you "have" to shoot, I'd look forward, not backward. I think I can say that most of us here on the list have film cameras and film in the freezer that we hardly use at all, if ever.

Pixelate yourself.
