Not really, in THIS case. If I had gotten something lesser:

A) I always would've been second-guessing myself
B) Would've upgraded later, thereby wasting money
C) Knew I got the best Pentax had to offer (at the time) and it is more than 
enough camera, and gives me room to grow into.

I was looking at getting the K200D, but the price differential just wasn't 
worth it.
Costco at one time had the K200D + 2 kit lenses for $599, but that sold out 
quick, at which point I noticed the 2YR
warranty offer on the K20D, and $699 kit at Adorama, and figured what the heck 
- go all out on the K20D, and I'll be set for a while.

Right....let's see what I say when the "K30D" comes out...
