Not really, in THIS case. If I had gotten something lesser: A) I always would've been second-guessing myself B) Would've upgraded later, thereby wasting money C) Knew I got the best Pentax had to offer (at the time) and it is more than enough camera, and gives me room to grow into. I was looking at getting the K200D, but the price differential just wasn't worth it. Costco at one time had the K200D + 2 kit lenses for $599, but that sold out quick, at which point I noticed the 2YR warranty offer on the K20D, and $699 kit at Adorama, and figured what the heck - go all out on the K20D, and I'll be set for a while. Right....let's see what I say when the "K30D" comes out... Thanks for the welcome - found PDML from Mark Roberts' web page, so later on, you can blame him :) Tony -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
