Banding can be a problem with all DSLRs, it usually shows up at higher
ISOs. (What a "higher" ISO is depends on the sensor chip).

Thanks for the comment on the shot itself. It was taken at my (so
far) one and only wedding. They said they wanted a PJ look, and they
got it!
