I'm sure there will, too.  But I also expect any putative K30D would
be aimed at or below the K20D price point.  I'd like to know whether
we were still likely to see a K2D or whatever; a somewhat more costly
camera, perhaps, but with some of the more esoteric features such as a
faster maximum frame rate (5fps or better), a second SD card slot and/or
a wireless transfer option (maybe even as add-ons in a battery grip), &c.

Mind you, I would agree that they probably should address better AF first;
if they don't do that they'll see more and more people leaving the fold.
