Pretty much what I do on my K10D. The green button or dof switch will allow the necessary shutter speed to be selected but I adjust from there using the lcd screen. I tested my 200 f/4 SMC this afternoon and the exposure determined at f4 was VG. However, as I stopped down and adjusted the shutter ACCORDING to the green button, the exposures kept getting lighter and lighter. Even at f5.6 the exposure was too much over even for raws.
