It's true that I see no point to accumulating a bazillion lenses I don't use. This "LBA" stuff is stupid. I have eight lenses for my Pentax kit and five lenses for my 4/3 kit. Three of the eight for the Pentax I don't use much (the zooms). My equipment cabinet feels over full even with that. That said, I have several other options in the same focal lengths as my macro lenses for each system. I just like using the macros a good bit of the time because of the freedom they allow in focusing flexibility.
