**chuckle**

I upgraded from OS9.0 on my Powermac G4 to OSX because of the daily
crashes I was enduring. Some sort of extensions conflict, I
suspected, but I could never pinpoint the problem. OSX was slow,
clunky with only 128mb of RAM, I could never get my Appletalk network
to function, and I could only print from Classic apps, but it NEVER
crashed. I upgraded to X.1 last week. It's much faster, I have my
Appletalk back and just as stable. I love it. I still can't print
from OSX apps on my old Stylewriter 1200 (connected to my Powermac
6500 and accessed through Appletalk) but I'm almost ready for a new
printer anyway. All I need now is more memory.

My wife, OTOH, has a G3 Powerbook running OS9.0 and it never crashes.
She loves it.
