Man, you just made my day after all this endless Windoze talk. I had a Mac Quadra 605 at _Photo Techniques_ that was two years old when I came on the job. That things worked all day every day for SIX YEARS without ever crashing, freezing, or having any problem of any sort. I rebuilt the desktop every month whether it needed it or not. The only problem it EVER had was when that little battery on the motherboard that jumpstarts the monitor went dead after about three years. New battery and it was good for another three years. Honestly, I never had another problem. Now I can't wait to get a quicksilver and run OSX. Just as soon as Adobe Photoshop goes OSX-native, I'm there.
