I have one too and I couldn't agree more. Much as I like my SLR cameras and
lenses sometimes I just can't be bothered lugging them around and drawing
attention to myself everytime I want to take a photo. The Olympus XA is
tiny and allows for discreet photos especially as its shutter is nearly
inaudible. The lens is fast and sharp. With the range finder you know
exactly what you've focussed on (unlike AF or zone focus compacts); slide
photos usually come out come out well exposed; the range finder aperture
priority allows you to play with shutter speeds and depth of field. It can
even take auto exposures up to 10 seconds long. My only complaint is a bit
of edge distortion in the lens - which brings me to a question: Given that
it's a prime lens - why has it got distortion? I thought only zoom lenses
suffered from this problem.
