I've never had much luck with the LX in auto. I'll be happily shooting
away, and when I process the film, find a few shots per roll that are,
for no apparent reason, 4 or so stops underexposed.
My LX used to do that, too.
I'm not sure what is causing the problem. When I had my fleet serviced a few
years ago, I had both the ISO resistor and the aperture simulator resistor
changed out and the problem persisted, much to my annoyance.
