With colour print film, I generally overexpose by 2/3 of a stop as a
matter of course.
Slide film, I tend to stick to the rated speed and compensate
accordingly.
I've never had much luck with the LX in auto. I'll be happily shooting
away, and when I process the film, find a few shots per roll that are,
for no apparent reason, 4 or so stops underexposed.
My LX used to do that, too.
