Which comment points up the need for knowledge of photographic techniques. Any
camera and flash that can abe set to manual can do fill flash. We old farts
have been using fill flash since 1925 or so. It seems we're still (a bit)
smarter than most (some) cameras.

Um, I disagree about the shadow, but I suppose it depends on just how
much flash fill you use. Most people seem to overdo it.
