Any hope for lens suffering from Separation?

I recently bought an M 100 f/4 macro on eBay that was supposed to only 
need " an interior cleaning" . Brought it into a tech today for 
evaluation - lens separation!
Major bummer. Is there any hope for inexpensive repair for this or is 
it only good now for a "soft portrait" shots?

Well, I'm looking forward to the Tamron 90 that I bought from Chad. I 
read good comments about him on this list.
