I did want the plant there, it was a bit more out of focus than I intended, but I put them there on purpose. Rubbish or not. Anyway: I'll give it a try. I do pass this spot on my way to work, but most times I travel there I go by bus. So this will probably cost me a lot more than the national debt of Peru. On second thoughts; I've got about a pint of Scottish blood in my veins, making me a cheap bastard. I might try re shoot just the plants, and photoshop them into the frame. That means a lot of practise with Elements, thats a good thing. On the other hand, thats not photographing, or is it? What a ...., I'll go to bed now! I'll find a solution. I was merely pointing out that there was some rubbish going on in the foreground, and that a positive action would be to go and tackle the subject again (you hinted that you pass the spot on a work journey). Photographers revisiting a scene many times in different weather and lighting situations in order to study the many and varied ways said scene can be captured on film or sensor, or even canvas for that matter, is common. So here's a positive message. You did not want to have the plant so out of focus at lower right, so go back to the scene and photograph it again!!!!! Of course, it is entirely possible that you did want the plant as such an out of focus feature at lower right, in which case, it's not the plant that is rubbish, the whole pic is!!!
