I have used this lens in a short month. I like it, despite the size. It is a "ladies lens", meaning that the softness makes the portraits flattering. The contrasts are very good, and the colours are very rich. It is useful at longer distances too. I've also tested it with a Vivitar 2x TC, that combo turned out to be useless, because of lack of details, and colours. The picks was very grey. Auto Focus is also a bit slower then I expected, despite the lens speed (f1,4). My Tamron 28-75/2,8 performs better concerning AF speed. Tim Another Norwegian.
