I always use Lithium. They do cost more, but ultimatley save money in terms of the effects of stress on my health ;-)

Since then I've taken 561 RAW shots, all DL'd via the USB connection on the camera with ZERO false low battery errors. I was getting frequent errors even with brand new Alkalines. Hopefully this good behavior will continue. ;-) Don
