Is anyone familiar with Diafine and Tri-X? Diafine rates Tri-X at 1600 only and I'm curious as to how it performs in terms of grain and contrast. Not having to worry about water temperature and developing times with Diafine makes it a very attractive option.
If you can stand the look of the grain, it's a nice developer.
I found that you had to be pretty careful with exposure, since with Diafine, exposure also alters the contrast somewhat.

Will Microphen give good results with Tri-X at 800 (with grey card). I'm looking for detailed highlights and usually don't seek anything burried in the shades.
