And who says they don't????? i.e. Isnt the DA 14mm F2.8 lens smaller and lighter ( and cheaper ) than any FF 14mm F2.8 lens on the market?
Check the specs, cheaper for sure, lighter, somewhat, smaller, somewhat, but not by the dramatic amount you are trying to make it out to be.
