Fart theories? Are you that ignorant of basic lens design? For the same level of quality and same speed and focal length, a FF lens which has an image circle diameter 150% of an APS lens will always require a higher level of correction due to the much wider field. That translates into larger size, weight, cost, etc. You don't need "on the shelf" items to know that simple fact of optical life.....
I just have to wonder why on the shelf items don't seem to match what you are saying about optical theory?
Except the part about cost.
