Yes, the engine is a 383. However, the typist is not keeping up:-). Of course it is a very special car. Very few 383 cars were produced with 4-speed manual transmissions. it has the bench seat with a Hurst shifter popping out of the transmission tunnel. A rare Dodge.

Paul,
I like both shots quite a bit. The first one is great in presenting the
view against a lovely background, and defines the car beautifully in a very
straightforward manner. The second shot, however, captures the soul of the
beast, conveys a sense of power. The car looks like it's ready to be
driven right out of the frame.
Being a Mopar fan (think Sports Fury with a Golden Commando) I can
unequivocally state that the second photo pushes my buttons more and
harder, and if the pic is for presentation in an enthusiast magazine, and
you've got to make an either / or decision, than the second photo is the
clear winner. Both, however, make a nice set, showing the car to its
fullest.
BTW, unless this is a very special Mopar, the engine's a 383, not a 393 ;-))

I had to shoot a car this morning. It was a "64 Dodge with a 393 and a 4-speed manual trans. One of only three made with that engine and transmission combination. [...]
Which do you prefer. (I'm really hoping to get some feedback here. In other words: Help!!) Paul
