THK sold me a replacement tripod mount and screws for my 80-200/2.8 (MF one-touch version. Same lens as you have?) Took them a while to send the bits (probably pulled them out of the bin in the service center), but they were great to deal with. Sounds like a fair price for a CLA on such a nice piece of glass. Despite the weight and bulk, it is still one of my favorite lenses.
