Frantisek, Can't help you with the BW conversion stuff, but I really like the photo!! <g> First of all, she's really pretty, which helps a lot (I know that's a shallow and sexist statement; so be it). I really like the fact that you chose to do a profile. That's something not always seen in portraiture, and it ~really~ works well with her. You caught her at just the right moment: very relaxed, a lovely gleam in her eye, a tiny (but natural) Mona Lisa smile - just perfect. Other details work very well, too, such as the relaxed slightly OOF hand, and the OOF table edge (as you said, maybe blown out, but it doesn't bother me - if you could tone it down a bit, it would look better). I like the OOF photographer in the background - makes me feel that it was taken at a fashion show, or a celebrity press conference or something - lends a bit of the exotic to it. All in all, I really like this one a lot! cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
