July 1st was the Annual CHIN Radio Bicycle Race; a Canada Day tradition. It has now become the Ontario Criterium Championship. As I knew at least 1/2 dozen participants (most of the ones in red are with the Jet Fuel Coffee Team), I went to socialize, watch buddies race, and take pix.
I also took some b&w and a roll of slides, along with this roll of colour print. These are more or less the best of that roll. They aren't perfect, but I'm pleased with them. A few of them even blurred real nice for me <g>. I like the shot of Andrew crossing the line for the win, with my friend Moe's arms urging him on. I didn't even notice her arms until I saw the print, but I kind of like them there: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=410200 Feel free to comment, although, as I said, I know they aren't perfect. I have to pull out the projector tonight to have a slide show, but so far I'm most impressed with what I've seen of the slides, so I may get some prints of those made up. cheers, frank ===== "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds.
