I've had both at the same time and preferred the 85. Ken didn't care for the
super shallow dof, but that's one reason I liked it. Some feel it's too big
and bulky, but it balances perfectly on a PZ-1p, which I'm guessing is the
camera they had in mind when they designed it. Feels pretty weird on a 5n,
either work ok on an MZ-S with grip.

They're both great lenses, I think it just comes down to your shooting
style. I'm a low light freak, I want the faster lens.
