My wife gets a discount on the Qantas club (so do I but she decided to spend the money first). The extra baggage saved us when we did an around Australia trip - we were about 5 kg off the maximum baggage limit when we returned and that is taking into account business class seats and Qantas club additions and not actually weighing the cabin luggage.
