Have you already went even closer?

I'm still thinking about it as I'm a little hesitant to throw NZ$800 at the problem :)

The problem is that I currently have the Mac (with Photoshop) on input A and the PC (with the scanners) on input B. I have calibrated the monitor with the Mac so I absolutely cannot change the settings without screwing that up. The PC's video card has a different gamma and colour balance... trying to get around it by profiling was a complete disaster.

So its either buy another monitor or become much better at colour correction in Photoshop... and I'm not sure I have the patience for this.

Thanks for the comments BTW :)

Cheers,
