I usually mount my prints behind black card with a window cut in it, so final cropping
is done at this stage. For this it is essential to leave a border around the visible
print.

Cutting up paper is still no fun compared to just using an off the
shelf solution. These days I usually do full-bleed 8.5x11 prints
because they only require minor cropping from 2:3 or 3:4 and don't
require trimming the paper.
