Maybe on yours, not mine! I am using OS 10.2.6.
In that menu I have:
Dock size (slider)
Magnification (slider)
Position on screen
Minimize using scale effect or Genie effect
Animate opening applications
Automatically hide and show the dock.
At one time or another, I've tried all these settings, without success.
