You're right, same seller. The lens I received is somewhere between
excellent and mint. Glass is perfect. He mailed it BEFORE receiving my
payment. That's a new first, but I appreciate his trust. In my first
"test" frames I shot a finely detailed embroidered fabric wide open on
transparency film. It's quite sharp. I can't fault it. I shot some flat
field weathered wood as well at wide open and f2, but it's BW and I
didn't print it yet. Of course I have no baseline to compare these to. I
didn't repeat the shots with my M 50/1.7, and everything was hand held.
Not much of a test, but from a very subjective perspective, I'm pleased
with the lens' performance.
