Pentax has officially stated that they consider compact size to be of prime importance in DSLR design. I'm sure when they have a 24x36 sensor it'll be in an 35mm body. Even if the body itself is no smaller than a medium format camera (such as is the case with the Canon 1Ds!) the smaller lenses for 35mm cameras will mean a tremendous savings in size/weight/price for a working photographer with multiple lenses. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
