That�s something else, it�s the general description of the reflectivity of a planet. I think it is 0.39 for earth.

I�m not sure that I agree Jostein that the albedo increases during winter. I though we were able see the "Dark side of the moon" because of the clear, clean air and low sun during winter.

I think Earthshine is the English term. Quite common indeed in northern-hemisphere winter season, when snow
increase
Earth's reflectivity.
