Hi!

Oh no... that wasn't supposed to be an insult of any sort. Pls don't misunderstand. Really. :-)

Ok, will do. In fact it is often happens to me - without being able to hear your actual intonation ... Sometimes I tend to misunderstand things.

I don't understand the 602 that much. I mean, who would pay that much for a 3MP model? For the same amount of money, I prefer G2/3/5.

This and new cameras as well have Super CCD sensor which has two light sensitive elements per pixel. This way one is supposed to get wider dynamic range which may make this camera rather attractive for an educated prosumer. Otherwise, I am with you. The Fuji 700(0) that is just announced has 6 MP CCD but can produce 12 MP images by means of approximation. When I tried 602 at 3 MP (no approximation/interpolation/whatever) I got only reasonable results, no more.

What bothers me most is that Super CCD has probably 4th generation coming up. Nikon developed their own version of CMOS for fast shooting and Sony announced 8MP sensor if I am not mistaken. Pentax's camera is already old even before it came out.

I still need to choose which scanner to buy <grin>.
